Everyone was amazed with the wedding gown. It was beautiful! It is still beautiful now!
Thank you so much Anna, you made me the most beautiful bride ever!!
Nina’s lace wedding dress
Nina came to see me when she was planning two weddings. A smaller one in New Zealand with one hundred and sixty guests and the other in China with two thousand guests.
She was looking for a lace wedding dress for her New Zealand wedding and ideally wanted to use it again as a second dress to change into after her initial ceremony in China (she had already purchased the first gown for her China wedding overseas).
Looking for something a bit different she fell in love with a lace from Sophie Hallett, who is one of the worlds most exclusive lace designers. French Chantilly, beaded all over with small, matte sequins then over-beaded with silver seed pearls. A rare, delicate lace, it features exquisite detail and truly spectacular edging.
Nina had a clear idea of the silhouette she wanted for her lace wedding dress. Long and fitted in the body, with lace straps, possibly off the shoulder. A full skirt and generous train.
This couture gown was created and Nina’s mother was able to attend a few fittings too, after her arrival in New Zealand. Both were over the moon with the finished, stunning lace wedding dress.
Our gown was promptly promoted to not only to be the one gown worn in New Zealand, but it also became the first and star gown at the very large wedding in China.
This was of course what I had been aiming for from the start.
